We are recruiting: argon welder (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Perry County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
