Gas commissioning technician • Kingman County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Kingman County, Kansas. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
