Crane rigger wanted in Fayette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Fayette County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
