Domestic gas engineer wanted in Benton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Benton County, Mississippi. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
