We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Jeff Davis County, Texas. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations 6+ years on the tools preferred.
