Lift mechanic — Borough of Bury

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Borough of Bury, England. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On the job you will handle: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £135 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
