Pipe tig welder wanted in Chatham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Chatham County, North Carolina. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
