Confectioner — St. Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in St. Lawrence County, New York. The role involves: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
