Building site helper — Rappahannock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Rappahannock County, Virginia. The job is on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
