Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Hardin County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers The role involves: • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience.
