Aluminium fitter wanted in Oceana County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Oceana County, Michigan. The job is at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces. What we are looking for: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
