Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in Williamson County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements 1+ years on the tools preferred.
