Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glazing installer in Montgomery County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size You should have: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
