AC mechanic • Kent, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Kent, England. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. You will fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow. What we are looking for: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
