Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Matagorda County, Texas. You will work in a tyre and puncture shop. Day to day you will fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
