Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Terrell County, Texas. The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
