Join our team: stainless steel welder (Kaduna State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Soba, Kaduna State. You will be based on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Meals and transport allowance provided.
