Aluminium glazier — City and Borough of Birmingham

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium glazier in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. The job is at an ACP cladding fabricator. Day-to-day duties: • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish Ideal candidate: • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
