Skimming plasterer wanted in Jefferson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Jefferson County, Indiana. You will be based in a refurbishment property. Day to day you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic 5+ years on the tools preferred.
