Great opportunity: we are hiring a plastering hand in Buffalo County, South Dakota. On the job you will handle: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
