Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Dickey County, North Dakota. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
