Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Warri South-West, Delta State. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On the job you will handle: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
