You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Six days a week, one day off.
