Fire and safety officer wanted in Salt Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Salt Lake County, Utah. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. You will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
