Tree and shrub pruner wanted in City of Portsmouth

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. You will be based at a plant nursery. On a typical shift you will cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
