Immediate opening: we are hiring a waitress in Clay County, Kansas. You will be based in a quick-service restaurant. The role involves: • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu Requirements: • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
