Steel fixer wanted in Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Jackson County, Missouri. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Full-time, day shift.
