Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Henry County, Indiana. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
