Concrete shuttering carpenter — Jo Daviess County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
