Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
