Safety officer • Udi, Enugu State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Udi, Enugu State. On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
