Urgent requirement: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Lowndes County, Georgia. You should have: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence The role involves: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
