Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Hamilton County, Texas. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
