Quality assurance assistant — City of Alexandria

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will work in an electronics assembly workshop. On the job you will handle: • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
