Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. The job is in a chemical processing unit. The role involves: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
