Renovation plasterer — Southampton County

Join our team: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Southampton County, Virginia. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish The role involves: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
