Tower crane operator — Chatham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Chatham County, North Carolina. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
