Gtaw welder wanted in Pierce County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Pierce County, Washington. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
