Aluminium tig welder wanted in Sac County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Sac County, Iowa. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
