Ladle pourer wanted in Orkney Islands

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Orkney Islands, Scotland. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Pay around £3,000 per month, based on your experience.
