Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Henderson County, Tennessee. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists You will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Contact us to fix an interview.
