Concrete placer — Fayette County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Fayette County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works The role involves: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
