Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in Hot Spring County, Arkansas. Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates We offer $170 per day plus benefits.
