Now hiring: we are hiring a stores assistant in Borough of Halton, England. Day-to-day duties: • Pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list • Keep aisles, racking and the yard clean and free of obstructions • Put away stock into racking locations following FIFO • Load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck • Assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay • Check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders Requirements: • Confident using handheld scanners and a WMS • Strong attention to detail to avoid mis-picks • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £14 per hour plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
