Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
