Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile installer in Cardiff, Wales. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage On the job you will handle: • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
