Wood machinist — Logan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wood machinist in Logan County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On a typical shift you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
