Great opportunity: shakeout operator (Pennsylvania)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
