Glass and glazing technician — Gwoza

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Gwoza, Borno State. The job is at a busy glazing workshop. On the job you will handle: • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
