Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. On a typical shift you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
